Mazda to halt operations at two Japan plants for 2 days due to supply disruption -Breaking

TOKYO, (Reuters) – Japanese automaker Mazda Motor (OTC) Corp announced on Thursday that it will suspend production in its two domestic plants for two days during April because of disruptions in auto parts supplies.

According to the statement, one of the factors that could cause disruption in supply was the rise in COVID-19 in China.

The suspension in Hiroshima prefectures of Yamaguchi and Yamaguchi on April 4, 5, would have an impact on vehicle production. It was not clear.
