Veoneer says Qualcomm deal to close next week -Breaking

Chipmaker Qualcomm Inc Veoneer was purchased by SSW Partners (an investment company based in New York), in an October agreement.
Veoneer stated in a Thursday statement that Jacob Svanberg (Senior Vice President Lidar Product Area) would be the new CEO. Jan Carlson will continue to serve as advisor to Veoneer and the CEO.
The company had stated that the agreement was likely to close by 2022. Veoneer, an airbag and seatbelt manufacturer Autoliv (NYSE:), was acquired by Veoneer in 2018.
