Deutsche Bank appoints Ahlersmeyer to U.S. building products research unit

(Reuters) – Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE:) has hired Joe Ahlersmeyer as vice-president of the U.S. building products research unit within the bank’s company research group, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters on Thursday.

Ahlersmeyer, who was previously a senior equity researcher associate at Evercore ISI since 2019, is credited with having held that position for the past three years. He was previously an investor relations manager at Coca-Cola (NYSE 🙂 Co.

Ahlersmeyer will join Deutsche in mid-April and will be reporting to Matthew Barnard, head of U.S. equity research at the German bank.

A bank spokesperson confirmed that the memo was true.
