U.S. House panel probing Capitol riot moves toward contempt charge against Navarro, Scavino -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. House of Representatives Committee probing Jan. 6, 2021 riot in the Capitol stated on Thursday that it is moving towards holding Peter Navarro and Daniel Scavino in contempt of Congress.

According to the Select Committee, it will hold a meeting Monday in order to vote on a recommendation that the House refer them to federal court and cite them as contemptuous of Congress.
