CuriosityStream Plunges Following Q4 Earnings Report -Breaking

Investing.com — After the fourth quarter earnings report, shares of American media company Curiositystream Inc. (NASDAQ) plunged 13% in extended trades

A loss of 22c per share was announced by the company on revenues of $27.3million. According to analysts polled, Investing.comOn revenue of $27.03million, we expected a 30c per share loss.

“We are thrilled to announce that we exceeded our revenue target for the second year in a row, exceeding $71 million in 2021 as our investments in content, people, and technology continued to bear fruit,” said Clint Stinchcomb, president & CEO. “Over the past year, we have more than doubled the size of our content library, and our 2022 content slate promises to be our biggest and best yet.”

The company anticipates that its first half of 2022 revenues will be $36 million to $40 million. This represents a 50% increase year-over-year.
