(Reuters). Virginia Thomas (wife of conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas) urged Mark Meadows, Trump White House Chief of Staff, to try to change the result of the 2020 elections in a series a text messages. This was reported by CBS News and the Washington Post on Thursday.

The Post and CBS News report that Thomas advised Meadows in the following weeks to “make plans” and to “release the Kraken” to help Donald Trump retain his presidency.

Virginia Thomas, conservative activist and lawyer, was not available for comment immediately.

The race was expected to be won by Joe Biden, the incumbent president.

Sidney and her colleagues are receiving a lot of evidence about fraud. Plan. According to the Post, she shared one of the 29 messages between them.

Sidney Powell represented Trump’s campaign during his attempt to reverse the election results. He filed lawsuits in several states challenging Trump’s fraudulent claims of widespread electoral fraud. To expose Trump’s fraud claims, Sidney Powell had pledged to “release Kraken”, referring to the Scandinavian sea monster.

The congressional committee that was investigating the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol received the messages, CBS reported. CBS said they were provided with copies, but did not elaborate.

Reuters was unable to independently confirm the claims.

The Jan. 6-committee spokesperson declined to comment.

Reuters reached Meadows, a Conservative Partnership Institute partner that assists in electing conservatives, for comment. However, Reuters was unable immediately to reach Meadows. Meadows was not able to respond to our request for comment.

According to Post, messages are not directed at Thomas’s spouse or the Supreme Court.

After she stated that millions of votes had been switched to Biden by electronic voting systems, Trump’s campaign disassociated itself from Powell.

It comes nearly a week since Justice Thomas was admitted into a Washington hospital. Thomas’s condition was not immediately known.
