Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was released from hospital on Friday. This was a week after being admitted to the hospital with an infection.

According to the court, Thomas, who is 73, received treatment at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, D.C., with antibiotics. Two days following his admission, a spokeswoman for Thomas disclosed that Thomas had deteriorated after receiving antibiotics.
