This was according to the Russian defense ministry on Sunday.
Russia attacked a Ukrainian fuel depot near Lviv using long-range missiles. The ministry also said that Russia used cruise missiles in a strike against a plant within the city, which was used for repairs to anti-aircraft radar stations, sights for tanks and other purposes.
Igor Konashenkov (ministry spokesperson) stated that the Russian Federation’s armed forces continue their offensive activities as part of the military special operation.
Video of the attack on Lviv was shown by the ministry.
Lviv officials, located just 60km (40 miles), from NATO-member Poland’s border, reported that people were injured in the missile attack.
According to the ministry, Russia also used sea-based long-range rockets to take out an arsenal S-300 missiles near Kyiv and BUK anti-aircraft ballistic missile systems. It also stated that a variety of drones were destroyed by Russian forces.
Russia is destroying Ukrainian fuel depots and food storage units, which means that the government must disperse both stocks in the near future.
