REUTERS/Fabian Bimmer/File photo/File photo(Reuters) – The Daimler chief executive (OTC) Truck stated that electric trucks will always be more expensive than vehicles with combustion engines. This was despite the fact that Russia’s invasion in Ukraine has pushed up raw material prices.
Martin Daum stated to the newspaper that government should help cover the additional cost of battery-powered cars. “Without any subsidies . . . “The price of an [electric] truck will always be, forever higher than that of a [combustion engine] vehicle,” he stated.
