(Reuters) – Tesla (NASDAQ) Inc plans to stop production at Shanghai’s factory for at most one day. Bloomberg News reports that China’s financial center said on Sunday it will lock down in two stages to carry out COVID-19 tests.

According to the report, Tesla will stop production at the plant on Monday. Sources familiar with the matter said that Tesla has not yet told workers whether it plans to extend the suspension beyond Monday.

Tesla has not yet responded to Reuters’ requests for comment.

Shanghai’s municipal government declared Sunday that all factories and companies will be forced to suspend production or operate remotely during this lockdown.

Tesla’s production was halted for two days in April after China tightened COVID-19. The company said that it tried its best to maintain production at the plant.
