Lisk is a blockchain platform that was designed to provide a portal to the blockchain. Lisk Grant is a program that encourages and rewards entrepreneurs and developers for creating outstanding blockchain applications.

With the 31 March deadline for submissions, the current wave of applications is ending.

Fourth Wave

To ensure proper organization, Lisk runs its Grant Program in “Waves”. This Wave is active from the beginning of 2018 and will be closed on 31 March 2022.

With three Waves that were successful, the Grant Program has been in operation since last year. Lisk Foundation selected teams to develop innovative blockchain applications and funds their efforts.

Lisk is easy to apply for. It requires two founder members, one of which must be a JavaScript programmer. A business plan and a pitch deck are required. The team details must also be included. If Lisk is impressed with the proposal, Lisk will arrange an interview for the teams so they can pitch their ideas.

In 4 Milestones, 66,000 USD

Every project selected will have to meet certain criteria in order for 66,000 USD equivalents in LSK tokens to be funded. This funding will be used to build the app and is distributed over 4 milestones.

• Project Setup: Verify all team members’ identities and sign the Lisk Grant Program agreement, along with activating the website and official social media channels.
• Minimal Viable Product: Create MVP with the most recent Lisk SDK, and then present it to Lisk in order for them to review.
• Develop: You will need to define the development goals in three objectives, go through a high-level review and launch the public testnet. Then, you’ll have at least one month of continuous operation.
• Launch the mainnet, and sign up as sidechain for Lisk. For final payment, you must run for at least one month.

Every milestone demands that all team members cover it in their respective blogs.

Lisk’s Mission Continues

Lisk’s mission is to make blockchain accessible to everyone and reap the many benefits. Lisk seeks to establish a comprehensive ecosystem, which includes interoperable apps and services, including wallets, exchanges, and real-world applications.

Several blockchain apps using Lisk SDK are currently being created, including Enevti (a Decentralized Social Media NFT Platform), Kalipo (“a platform to serve DAOs”), Colecti (“Lisk-based NFT Marketplace”), and idnty (“public key and identity storage/verification infrastructure).

Lisk can be accessed on desktop or mobile. Users will have the ability to set up a Lisk account, and enjoy blockchain technology. Lisk also recently released Lisk Mainnet V3 to upgrade its network and support industry developments.

Lisk for 2022

Lisk is active in community building, promoting blockchain technology adoption and the promotion of its protocol. Lisk will organize and participate in a number of events, where members from the Lisk team will showcase the project’s tools and capabilities. These events will include Lisk.js 2022, an annual Lisk developer event. There may also be external conferences like:

• International JavaScript Conference.
• Future Blockchain Summit.
