CVS Health reaches $484 million opioid settlement with Florida -Breaking

(Reuters) – CVS Health Corp (NYSE 🙂 announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with Florida regarding claims related to prescriptions of opioid medication. The settlement will be for $484 Million and will be paid over a 18-year period.

The agreement means that CVS Pharmacy won’t be named as a defendant in the opioid case in Florida, which is set for trial in April 2022.
