© Reuters Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.48%Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
Saudi Arabia closed with a decline of 0.48%.
Astra Industrial Group, which gained 8.62% (or 3.80 points) to close at 47.90 was the best performer of the session. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCECO (SE:), which gained 6.97%, or 1.54 points, to close at 23.64. SABB Takaful was also up 5.50% (or 1.12 points) to 21.50 late trade.
Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC(SE:) fell 5.24%, or 1.00 points, to trade at 18.10. Bindawood Holding Co (SE:) declined 4.40% or 4.40 points to end at 95.50 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:) was down 3.97% or 0.46 points to 11.14.
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 119 to103, while 16 ending unchanged.
Shares of Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC(SE:) dropped to 52 week lows. This was a drop of 5.24%, or 1.00 to 18.10.
Crude oil rose by 3.92% to $108.33/barrel for May delivery. Brent oil rose by 3.83%, or 4.12, to $111.83 per barrel in June. The April Gold Futures contract climbed 0.85%, or 16.30, to $1,928.50 an ounce.
EUR/SAR increased 0.59% to 4.18 while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 0.02% to 3.75.
At 97.87, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.58%.
