WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The United States will be discussing options for increasing sanctions against Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine. A spokesperson from the White House Kate Bedingfield stated Wednesday that more information would come out about this matter.

At the White House daily briefing, Bedingfield stated that President Joe Biden continues to examine options for expanding sanctions. He will provide more details in the coming days. Biden has placed a range of economic sanctions on Russia.
