Bayer to invest 2 billion euros in drug production over next 3 years -Breaking

FRANKFURT, Reuters – German drugmaker Bayer said that it will invest approximately 2 billion euros (or $22.33 billion) in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities over the next three year period. This is primarily to increase production of cell and gene therapy drugs as well.

Berkeley, California as well as Berlin and Leverkusen in Germany, are the places to be updated.

Bayer will also move a Brazilian manufacturing plant to Sao Paulo Cancioneiro as well as some infrastructure and services from the German sites of Bergkamen Wuppertal, Berlin, and Wuppertal to new operators.
