Acala and Karura To Join Wormhole – Accessing Over $200B Liquidity- Wormhole will integrate Acala and Karura
- It will bring together the eight Kusama layer-1 ecosystems.
- Wormhole allows Karura and Acala, among others, to connect with ETH, SOL, BSC, etc.
The multi-chain bridging platform Wormhole will be integrated with Acala’s decentralized network Karura. The collaboration is the first EVM+ integration for both Karura and Acala. It will allow cross-chain interaction for its users. This includes asset integrations, access to liquidity of over $200 billion from the top layer-1 network networks.
Additionally, eight layer-1 chain will be connected by the Polkadot-Kusama partnership. The bridge has an estimated value of $3.6 trillion across all its chains.
According to CoinQuora’s information, Karura and Acala plan on building liquidity on both networks. They will also open EVM+ in order for DApp launch on these networks.
The network allows Karura and Acala, using Wormhole’s technology, to link to other networks. These include, Oasis Smart Chain, Polygon and Fantom to name a few.
Wormhole allows Karura and Acala the opportunity to exchange currency value. As a result, Acala will be able to finalize the merge of two stablecoins — aUSD and kUSD. This will allow aUSD to also be minted on Acala as well as Karura, with initial collaterals such as DOT, ACA and KSM, KAR and LKSM.
However, Wormhole integration is expected to be live by the crypto community during the third quarter 2022. Wormhole is expected to go live soon on Karura, in other words. After the Karura integration, Acala is to be followed.
The network is open to any developer who wants to build a project that increases the utility or yield of the USD stablecoin. Developers can be funded by the aUSD Ecosystem Fond.
