LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s economy grew more strongly than previously thought in the April-June period, official data showed on Thursday.

The Office for National Statistics reported that the gross domestic product grew by 5.5% during the second quarter, up from 4.8% in its initial estimate.

According to ONS, data were adjusted in order for more accurate data from health and an up-to-date of sources and methodologies used to calculate British economic output.
