Ivanka Trump testifies before U.S. Capitol riot committee -Breaking

REUTERS/Tom Brenner/File PhotoWASHINGTON (Reuters] -Ivanka Trump, former President, gave testimony Tuesday to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at U.S. Capitol. The panel chairman asked several hours of questions.
“She is answering questions. “I mean, you understand, not in an overly chatty way, but she is answering questions,” said Representative Bennie Thompson on CNN, who was the Democratic chair of the panel.
Thompson claimed that Thompson’s testimony began on Tuesday morning and was continuing until the mid-afternoon.
Thompson said that Ivanka Trump came to him on her own and would cooperate if asked. It was not necessary to issue subpoenas.
Jared Kushner was her husband and spoke last week to the Select Committee. As the investigation into the attack on Capitol expands, it will also include relatives of former President.
Ivanka Trump, like her husband met virtually with the committee.
Ivanka Trump served as an adviser to her husband in the Trump White House. Ivanka Trump spent most of Jan. 6, 2021 with her dad.
An aide to Trump’s family didn’t respond to our request for comment.
