Corrects the headline and first paragraph to delete reference to Binance’s U.S. Unit

(Reuters) –Binance.US announced Wednesday that it raised more than $200 million through a seed round of funding. The pre-money value was $4.5 billion.

According to the company, RRE Ventures and Circle Ventures are among the investors of the round.

Binance stated that it would use the funds for investments in its spot trading platform as well as to develop new products and services.
