(Reuters: Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ) called on Friday for a rerun election after New York City workers voted to establish the first U.S.-based union. The statement claimed that U.S. labor board actions and worker-organizers suppressed voting and denied employees their voices.

U.S. National Labor Relations Board did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A request for comment was not answered by an attorney from the Amazon Labor Union.
