These are the 10 best and worst states for working from home, according to WalletHub

Although more businesses are returning to work, employees still prefer working remotely.

Latest research by MicrosoftAccording to the survey, 52% of workers worldwide are looking at switching to remote jobs or hybrids. 

Some places, however, are more suitable for remote, flexible work than others – at least according to a new report from WalletHubThe following identifies the most favorable and least advantageous states to work from home: 

To determine the list, the personal finance website compared 50 states and the District of Columbia  across two key dimensions: Work environment and living environment. 

The twelve metrics used included cybersecurity, internet cost and home square footage. Different weights were applied to each of these metrics. Each state used its weighted mean across all metrics to determine the score.

According to WalletHub’s survey, here are the best 10 places for you to work remotely.
