Epic Games valued at about $32 billion in funding from Sony, Lego firm -Breaking

Sony (NYSE:) Group Corp, the family-owned holding company that owns the Lego Group gave the Lego Group a $31.5 billion valuation.
Sony (an existing investor) and Kirkbi invested $1 billion each, with the fundraising for Epic Advance and Support the Growth of its Metaverse.
Epic Games was largely unsuccessful in a last-year trial over whether Apple’s app payment regulations were anticompetitive. This decision found that Apple had sufficient reasons to forbid Epic from using its payment system, and to pay them commissions of between 15% and 30%.
