Hyzon Motors To Deliver 18 Trucks To DEVK Versicherung Subsidiary Hylane -Breaking

Investing.com — Hyzon Motors Inc. (NASDAQ:) Monday announced that its fuel cell electric trucks will be supplied to Hylane GmbH by Hyzon Motors Inc. Hylane GmbH is a subsidiary of DEVK Versicherung. This German motor insurance company owns Hyzon Motors Inc.
Hyzon stated that it would supply Hylane 18 Hyzon vehicles. Deliveries are expected to start in the latter part of 2022.
Hylane’s sustainable mobility model will allow fleet owners to deploy Hyzon vehicles in their operations via a rental agreement with Hylane.
Customers will pay only for actual miles driven. Hylane covers maintenance and downtime expenses.
“Through Hylane’s sustainable mobility program, customers across Germany can experience first-hand the vehicle performance, driver satisfaction, and emissions reductions of Hyzon’s fuel cell electric trucks,” said Craig Knight, Hyzon CEO, and co-founder.
“Hyzon recognizes that, as with any new technology, customers need the chance to utilize our fuel cell electric vehicle in their regular operations. Based on past experiences, we know that fleet owners who have seen our vehicles will be more inclined to accelerate their transition to zero emissions.
Hyzon shares traded 1% lower on Monday
