Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index rose 0.15% at the Paris close.

These were the best performers of the session Societe Generale SA (PA:) rose by 4.96%, or 1.09 points, to trade at 22.95 at close. AXA SA, PA:) gained 2.85% (or 0.74 point), to close at 26.50 Thales Late trade saw the PA: rise 2.54% to 123.00, or 3.05 points.

Dassault Systemes SE, (PA:) was the worst performer of the session. It fell by 3.37%, or 1.41 points, to trade at 41.55 at close. Hermes International SCA (PA) fell 3.21%, or 41.50 point to finish at 1,252.50 Kering SA (PA:), was at 2.90% lower or 16.00 points below 535.30

Dassault Aviation SA, (PA) rose 6.3% to 154.80. Aeroports de Paris SA was up 5.66% and settled at 136.20. Societe Generale SA gained 4.96% to finish at 22.95.

Sartorius is the worst performer Stedim Biotech SA (PA) was lower by 3.93% at 359.00 in late trading, Dassault Systemes SE was also down at 40.55 (PA) and Hermes International SC (PA) were both down 3.21% at 1,252.50 at close.

On the Paris Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered advancing by 298 – 253, and 100 was unchanged.

Thales shares (PA:), rose 2.54% to new all-time highs, rising 3.05 to 123.00. The shares of Dassault Aviation SA (PA) rose by 6.03%, or 8.80 to154.80.

For June delivery, Gold Futures fell 0.14% (or 2.70) to $1.942.90 an troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell by 4.2% or to $94.06 per barrel in May, and the June Brent crude oil contract, which fell 4.54% to trade at $98.11/barrel.

EUR/USD was steady at 1.09, 0.02% and 0.09 respectively. EUR/GBP was constant at 0.10% and 0.84.

At 100.01, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.26%.
