(Reuters) – Spotify Technology SA (NYSE:), Tuesday announced that Spotify Live, its audio streaming service for live audio streams, has been rebranded to Spotify Live. It also revealed a host of top-quality content from artists as the company doubles down on this format in a period when virtual events are still attracting audiences.

The service was launched as Spotify Greenroom in June 2021. It will be offered as both a standalone app and as an integrated livestream function within the Spotify app.

The company stated in a blog post that listeners could tune in to live programming or take part in chats via the artist’s Spotify Page.

Swedish House Mafia, a music group from Sweden, will broadcast a set of DJs on April 15, while comedian Hasan Minhaj launches a podcast that will be streamed live on the NBA playoffs beginning in May.

Company stated that the shows would be offered in selected markets.
