BUCHA, Ukraine (Reuters] – French forensic professionals have arrived in Bucha to aid Ukraine authorities determine what really happened in Bucha. The town is where hundreds of bodies were discovered by Russian forces since they withdrew.

The Ukrainian government claims that the Russian forces killed civilians in the area during occupation. Reuters cannot verify whether Bucha has seen a number of bodies or what the circumstances were when they died.

A worldwide outcry erupted after it was discovered that so many civilians had been killed in Bucha following the Russian withdrawal. Moscow denies responsibility. It dismissed claims that its soldiers committed war crimes.

While the French Gendarmerie’s forensic science team watched, workers wearing hazmat suits dug out the earth from a shallow grave. They then removed a bulky mass of soil and wrapped it in an orange blanket.

Referring to witnesses, the Prosecutor General Iryna Vinediktova claimed that the burned body parts were of a mother and her two children.

Venediktova stated that the French experts will help Ukraine’s authorities determine what happened in Bucha over the coming weeks.

Venediktova stated that there were now many jobs with war crimes at the churchyard, where Venediktova spoke. Locals had already buried those who had died in the occupation of the area.

Venediktova stated, “When you witness dead bodies from the Russian Federation here, it’s all fake. All this is our theater.”

Venediktova claimed that the international experts could see the problem for themselves. They can see all, and they are able to see this: actual graves, dead bodies, bomb attacks. For us, this moment is extremely important.

Moscow, which denies targeting civilians ever since the February 24, invasion of Ukraine has called claims that Russian forces executed Bucha civilians while they were occupying Bucha a “monstrous fraud” meant to discredit the Russian army.

Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed Tuesday that the footage of bodies lying in Bucha was fake.

Putin made the comment at a live news conference and compared the Ukrainian claims that Russian soldiers executed civilians in Bucha with what he claimed was the West’s staging of chemical weapons attacks in Syria to incriminate Bashar al-Assad.

Putin claimed that it was the same fake Bucha.

French authorities announced Monday that the French team of experts in explosives and ballistics would be able contribute to the investigation by the International Criminal Court.

Andriy, the local priest, stated that the work of their team would show the world the history of Bucha and the remains discovered in the churchyard.

Halavin explained that the explosions they experienced didn’t cause their deaths by accident, or because they happened to be in an inappropriate place at the right time. But, the fact is, the bombs were deliberately fired.

“Some people were driving in their cars when they were attacked and shot. Others were on the streets and were also shot.

It is vital that everyone sees the truth, as Russian propaganda tells lies and stories all the time.
