REUTERS/Brendan McDermidBERLIN (Reuters), – Volkswagen (ETR) announced Thursday that its first quarter operating return on sales rose to 13.5%, from 7.7% during the period 2021. However, the effects of war in Ukraine as well as supply chain disruptions remain uncertain.
According to the German automaker, Russia’s March invasion of Ukraine had thrown into doubt its prospects of a 8-13% increase in 2022 revenue. The war, however, could also have an adverse effect on business operations.
