U.S. State Department says defense alliance expansion would promote European stability -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The United States is not concerned about the expansion of a defence alliance that would promote stability in Europe. This was stated by Ned Price, a spokesperson for the State Department.

Price said that they would not worry about any country speaking in particular.

Responding to a question about whether the United States was concerned Russia would escalate their confrontation over Ukraine if Sweden/Finland joined the NATO alliance, he said that he meant the question.
