Investors may be profiting from the plummeting red market prices, by purchasing the dip and HODLing other altcoins.

WhaleStats, the portal that analyzes and tracks the top 5000 ETH wallets, reported that five altcoins entered the tracker’s top 10 purchased tokens out of the 500 ETH whales in the last 24 hours.

SPELL made it into the top five list within the first hours of yesterday’s last day. TOKE, OGN and COMP followed. SPELL, TOKE and SAND were not able to hold onto their positions for very long. They were pushed off the list at writing.

OGN was added to the list around 2:20 AM (UTC +4;00) with a purchase average of $3,866. The average token amount is over 150 000. COMP is currently at $14,447, with nine and nine respectively as their average token quantities and purchase amounts.

According to CoinMarketCap data, OGN has a value of $0.582790 and a daily trading volume exceeding $395 million. Not surprisingly, OGN saw an 8.7% increase in value over the previous day. The current number nine spot on WhaleStats’ top 10 most-purchased tokens is for the token.

COMP sits at $65.39 and has a daily trading volume of more than $107 Million. COMP continues to show a trend downward, at about 8% per hour over OGN.

Still holding their posts on WhaleStats’ top 10 purchased tokens since the April 16 updates are stablecoins USDC and USDT, ETH, BUSD, and APE. Wrapped Ether(WETH), which has an average of $200,000., and SHIB (an average of $3,000) are in the 10th spot.
