  • SHIB burners receive two incentive for their hard work.

Recently, the popular meme coin Shiba Inu has launched a SHIB burn portal. It was created to reduce token supply as well as to offer passive rewards to users.

The Shiba Inu team revealed on the portal’s website that the project was started in order to increase the scarcity of SHIB. According to the team this will make SHIB “one of the best digital assets in the history of cryptocurrencies.”

As a result from a partnership between Shiba Inu, Ryoshis Vision and RYOSHI (RYOSHI), the portal was built. RYOSHI (Ethernet-based, decentralized finance) is a project that supports the SHIB ecosystem.

SHIB burners receive two types of incentives. Burners help reduce the supply of SHIB tokens, which will in turn make them more valuable and less common. SHIB burnt tokens from SHIB burners are stored in the (ETH) wallet, which in turn pays holders with RYOSHI.

These incentives seem to have the desired effect as the SHIB Twitter (NYSE:) page announced that “over 8 billion SHIB was burned” during the first 24 hours after the project was launched.

The price of SHIB has fallen by 5.9% over the past 24 hours, indicating that the project is not doing the project any favors. CoinMarketCap reports that the current price for SHIB is $0.00002273.

Burn Dashboard estimates that around 410 trillion tokens were burned to date. This is 41% of total SHIB supplies.

SHIB subscribers are also advised to look out for scammers trying to deceive the Shiba Inu deployer 2 wallet.
