Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The closing in Tel Aviv saw the stock market drop by 0.76%, to a 1-month high.

Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd, which gained 2.91% (or 157.00 points) to close at 5,555.00, were the best-performing session. Meanwhile, Energix TASE: (2.87%, 33.00 Points) to reach 1,181.00 Maytronics TASE: was up 2.6%, or 173.00 point to 6,222.00 late trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Israel Corp TASE:, which dropped 5.09% (9950.00 points) to close at 185.550.00 Kenon Holdings Ltd TASE: (TASE) fell 4.55%, or 870.00 point to finish at 18,250.00 ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE) fell 4.40%, or 170.00 points, to 3,692.00.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 307. 191 to 32, and the ending was unchanged.

Brent oil dropped 5.64% to $96.31/barrel for June delivery. Brent oil fell 5.88%, or 5.92, to reach $100.23 per barrel in July commodities trading. The June Gold Futures contract dropped 2.01%, or 38.90, to trade at $1.895.40 an ounce.

The USD/ILS rose 0.67% to $3.29 while the EUR/ILS was unchanged at 0.11% to $3.53

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.5% to 101.77
