IMF says staff, Kenya reach agreement on loan review, $244 million disbursement -Breaking

REUTERS/Yuri GripasWASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The International Monetary Fund announced Monday that staff had reached an agreement in Kenya with Kenyan officials regarding policies for completing the third review Kenya’s loan programme. This will allow for a disbursement of $244 million upon approval by the Executive Board.
According to the Fund, this would make total disbursements of approximately $1.18Billion in accordance with Kenya’s Extended Fund Facility arrangement and Extended Credit Facility agreements approved in April 2021.
