Japanese Cars In the Metaverse: Toyota & Nissan Go Virtual More companies and brands are placing bets on virtual reality technology and blockchain technology every day. Recently, two of Japan’s biggest automobile companies publicized their entrance into the metaverse.
The world’s leading car manufacturers Toyota and Nissan (OTC:) plan to offer new virtual experiences, including virtual events and virtual customer support offices for clients.
They will both be focusing on bringing new experiences to the metaverse by offering virtual reality (VR) car exhibits. VRChat is a game developer.
Both companies have their own approaches to virtual reality and will use different applications. Nissan will set up VR rooms to serve their clients while Toyota will provide remote work spaces for employees. Toyota’s meetings will be held in the metaverse, and staff will use virtual avatars to attend them.
Recent months have seen other big auto companies enter the virtual world. McLaren and InfiteWorld, the world’s leading metaverse platform, formed a partnership in March. Ferrari (NYSE:) and Lamborghini have also proudly launched their brands’ NFT collections.
