U.S. welcomes German pledge to send 50 anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine -Breaking

RAMSTEIN, Reuters – Tuesday’s U.S. Government welcomes Germany’s first ever sending of heavy weapons to Ukraine.

“It’s noteworthy that Germany announced that 50 Cheetah Systems will be provided,” U.S. Sec. of Defence Lloyd Austin told after talks with numerous German counterparts. He also called the Gepard antiaircraft guns their English equivalent.

I believe those systems will give Ukraine real capabilities. He said that Germany’s future actions will be a decision by its sovereign leadership. I’m not going to speculate about that.”
