In Q2, Visa A Beats Revenue

Visa (NYSE:) The second quarter of the year was reported by Investing.com. It beat forecasts and generated revenue above expectations.

Visa A declared earnings per share (EPS) of $1.79 based on $7.19B in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted an EPS of 1.65 for $6.84B in revenue.

Visa A shares fell 10% in the first quarter, but are still below 20.39% of its 52 week peak of $252.61, which was set on July 27, 2020. They are under-performing the S&P Global 100 which is down 7.96% from the start of the year.

Following the report, Visa A shares saw a gain of 4.43% during after-hours trade.

Visa A reports on Microsoft’s Tuesday earnings beat. Microsoft reported EPS for $49.36B on Tuesday. Forecasts had EPS for $2.19, on $49.01B revenue.

Taiwan Semiconductor exceeded expectations, posting a first quarter EPS (EPS) of $1.35 on revenue $16.94B. That compares with EPS (1.27 per cent on revenue $16.73B).
