France stock higher after close of trade. CAC 40 up by 0.48%

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with the gain of 0.48% and the index climbing 0.39%.

Dassault Systemes SE, which gained 4.68% (or 1.80 points) to close at 40.41 was the best performer of the session. ArcelorMittal SA, (AS:), added 4.34% to close at 28.04 with an additional 1.16 point. Compagnie Generale des Etablissements was also up at the end. Michelin Late trade saw SCA (EPA) rise 3.62%, or 4.15 points, to 118.70

Veolia Environnement VE SA(EPA:), the worst performer of the session, fell 2.95% (or 0.83 points) to trade at 27,31 at the closing. Engie SA (EPA) lost 2.46%, or 0.28 point to close at 11.16. Eurofins Scientific SE was down 1.52% (or 1.36 points) to 88.08.

BIC (EPA) was the top performer on SBF 120, rising 7.67% and reaching 53.75. Eramet SA (EPA) was at 140.60, an increase of 6.03% Orpea SA (EPA:), which gained 5.03% and closed at 33.19

They were among the most disappointing. Ipsen SA (EPA:), which fell 12.36% to 96.40 during late trade Mcphy Energy (EPA) lost 5.68% and settled at 17.18. Metropole Television SA (EPA) was at 3.49%, at 17.72.

For June delivery, Gold Futures fell 0.84% (or 15.95) to $1.888.15 an ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell 0.80% or 0.81 in June to $100.89/barrel, and the July Brent crude oil contract, which fell 0.61%/0.64 to $103.97/barrel.

EUR/USD dropped 0.6% to 1.06 and EUR/GBP fell 0.59 to 0.84.

At 102.89, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.56%.
