To the dismay many NFT professionals, one core member of Moonbirds’ NFT team has decided to launch his own NFT fund.

The NFT Collection Moonbirds of 10,000 Owl Avatars was instantly a success in the NFT Community. On April 16, Moonbirds was launched and made $66 million in mint. It also exceeded 100,000 ETH in daily trading volume within a matter of days. However, the project’s Chief Operating Officer Ryan Carson has now left the company to launch a new fund called 121G.

121G describes itself as “the fund you wish you could go back in time and invest in,” and according to the venture’s website, the current NFT landscape is a “historic opportunity.”

Investors can apply for 99 spots, which will come with a monthly subscription fee of 25 Ethereum. Investors will also need to subscribe for at least one year. The fund is expected to generate at most 9,900 ETH, or around $27.7million from interested parties.

Although the fund will not launch until next month, Carson shared the company’s website on Twitter (NYSE:) on Monday, adding that he was “blown away by the interest” it had received so far.
