Sanofi operating income up 16% on bestseller drug Dupixent -Breaking

REUTERS/Benoit Tessier(Reuters). – French healthcare organization Sanofi (NASDAQ:) The company’s adjusted first quarter earnings increased 16.2% due to continued sales growth for its bestseller drug Dupixent.
Adjusted earnings before interest tax or business operating income for the first quarter rose to 3.07billion euros (3.23billion). This is higher than the 2.84billion euros average estimate posted by analysts on the company’s website.
Sanofi stated on Thursday it expects that 2022 adjusted earnings per shares will grow by a low, double-digit percentage.
Dupixent saw an increase in revenue by more than 45%, to 1.61 billion euro. This beats the consensus analyst estimate of 1.58 trillion euros. ($1 = 0.9500 euros)
