BEIJING, (Reuters) – China will reduce import tariffs on all kinds of coal from May 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023. This was announced by the Ministry of Finance in a Thursday statement.

This policy is being implemented by Beijing to improve energy security in the face of rising global benchmarks, supply disruption and other concerns.
