Ford to halt production next week at Flat Rock plant on chips shortage -Breaking

Number 2. The U.S. automaker had previously stated that it planned to idle the plant for two days this week. The No. 2 U.S. automaker previously stated that it planned to shut down the plant for two consecutive days. Automotive News had reported earlier on the production reductions.
Ford stated Wednesday that it has built approximately 53,000 cars but had not yet shipped any of them due to a lack of final components.
