BANGKOK, (Reuters) – The Thai unit for Toyota Motor Corp (NYSE:) Corp has signed an agreement to Thailand regarding incentives for electric vehicle use in Southeast Asia’s largest auto-producing region.

According to a statement from the finance ministry, the EV incentives will include tax breaks as well as subsidies that help lower the prices of EVs so they are more affordable.
