Cardano (ADA), recently achieved a significant milestone in developing its June Hardfork Combinator Event.

The director of Cardano architecture at IOG, John Woods, revealed that all of the new features that will be introduced in the upgrade are now officially “code complete.” Woods also explained that all of these new features can now be found on the blockchain’s GitHub repository.

While this milestone is significant, there’s still much to be done. Developers will be conducting quality assurance tests for the next few months.

When the developer is satisfied that the system is free from bugs, regressions or performance slowdowns, integration testing can begin. Woods predicted that the HFC event would take place after these steps have been taken.

Cardano’s upgrade will include a number of new features. The blockchain will scale up by enabling block diffusion, which allows it to reach the stage where input endorsers can be added.

Cardano Improvement Proposal 31, 32 and 33 will be enhanced by another feature. Inline datum and reference inputs will be added to the feature. Reference scripts will also be introduced. Cardano developers will enjoy a significantly improved experience with the upgrade.

Cardano’s ecosystem continues to grow, and several exchanges and partners are getting ready to show their support as the upgrade draws near.

Unfortunately, ADA’s price has not seen much change, even with the positive news for the ADA community. ADA trades currently at $0.83. It has experienced a 9,63% decrease in price during the last seven trading days.
