Bristol-Myers Squibb posted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.96 on $11.65B in revenue. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS at $1.91 for $11.35B in revenue.
Bristol-Myers Squibb shares have fallen 4% since the start of the year. However, they are still below 1.24% of its 52-week high of $78.17 on April 21. They are outperforming the S&P Global 100 which is down 10.1% from the start of the year.

The report by Bristol-Myers Squibb follows an earnings beat reported on April 14th by UnitedHealth, who reported EPS at $5.49 on revenue $80.15B. This compares to the forecasts of EPS at $5.36 for revenue $78.73B.
J&J had beat expectations on April 19 with first quarter EPS of $2.67 on revenue of $23.43B, compared to forecast for EPS of $2.59 on revenue of $23.62B.
