Amazon saw a drop of 10% in premarket sales following Thursday’s late announcement. weaker-than-expected first-quarterLower forward guidance and earnings. The quarter’s revenue increased by 7% over the previous year, to $116.4 million. This was in line with expectations. This was the lowest sales growth quarter since 2001’s dot-com bust, and it also marked the second consecutive quarter of low percentage growth.
