WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Constance Hamilton, Assistant United States Trade Representative for African Affairs (USTR), will head a delegation that visits Kenya May 1 in order to look at opportunities for improved trade and investment relations.

He stated that USTR and Departments of State, Labor, Commerce and Agriculture will be part of the delegation.

This visit comes after recent meetings between Katherine Tai, top U.S. trade negotiator and Betty Maina, Kenyan Cabinet Secretary. They agreed to deepen U.S.-Kenya trading ties.
