Sri Lanka extends credit line with India by $200mln for fuel

COLOMBO (Reuters – Sri Lanka extends a credit card to India in the amount of $200m to buy emergency fuel stocks. The minister for power and energy said Monday that four shipments will arrive in May.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said that Colombo had also been in discussions with New Delhi about extending the credit lines by $500 million more.
