Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Tel Aviv’s close saw the stock drop 2.22%, putting it at a 1-month high.

Liveperson (TASE) was the best performer of the session, rising 1.10% or 85.00 points to close at 7,608.00. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE) increased 1.00%, or 37.00 points, to reach 3,732.00. Nova (TASE) increased 0.85% or 280.00 to 33.180.00 late trade.

They were also the session’s worst performers Shikun & Binui (TASE): The close was down 5.74%, or 112.00 point to trade at 1,840.00 Airport City TASE:: Ltd declined 5.59%, or 406.00 point to finish at 6,860.00. Melisron was down 5.41% (or 1,420.00) to 24,850.00.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 444 to 70, while 16 ended the same.

The June delivery of crude oil fell 0.02 percent to $104.67 per barrel. Brent oil rose 0.02 percent to $107.16 per barrel in July, and the June Gold Futures contract dropped 2.26% to $1,868.47 an ounce.

The USD/ILS exchange rate was 0.65% higher at 3.36 while the EUR/ILS exchange rate rose by 0.4% to 3.54.

At 103.49, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.51%.
