LONDON, (Reuters) – Ukraine will defeat Russia to once more be a country free of interference, Boris Johnson, British Prime Minister said Tuesday during a videolink address to the Ukrainian Parliament.

Johnson announced an additional 300 million pounds ($375million) in military assistance to Ukraine. This included electronic warfare equipment, counter-battery radar systems, and other support. Britain will continue to provide aid for Ukraine.

Johnson stated, according to the transcript from Johnson’s office.

Johnson said that in its fight against Russia, Ukraine had “exploded the myth of (President Vladimir) Putin’s invincibility”.

“The so-called irresistible force of Putin’s war machine has broken on the immoveable object of Ukrainian patriotism and love of country,” he said.
