Geberit to restart production at factory in Ukraine -Breaking

ZURICH, (Reuters) – Geberit will resume production at the Ukraine plant it had temporarily shut down after Russia’s invasion. This was announced by CEO Christian Buhl on Wednesday.

Buhl stated that “the situation in Kyiv has stabilized” He said, “We have decided that production will resume at a lower level” but noted that the company’s security monitoring would be maintained.

Geberit employs 590 Ukrainian workers, according to Buhl. The factory has not been damaged in conflict. [L5N2WW14D]
