Crypto mining company Argo Blockchain’s plans to open a data center in West Texas are likely nearing completion following an inauguration ceremony.

Argo announced the acquisition on Thursday via Twitter (NYSE:). The company expects to start mining operations in the Helios plant, Dickens County Texas next week. This announcement was made more than one year after mining company purchased a plot of land measuring 320 acres to build the facility. In July 2021, the first concrete steps were taken on the 200 megawatt data center.
